The black dollar is farce. At the end of the day the majority goes back to non blacks.
I can't mess with community banks anymore, especially since I travel a lot. ATM fees are too damn high
I'm with a bank now that actually pays me back ATM fees along with interest if I use a different ATM.

Between travelling for work, hair cuts, and parking fees I go about 4 times a month. That's 12 bucks in fees right there.
If I'm going to put my money somewhere inconvenient I'll put it in a credit union, better benefits there than any community bank I've seen.
I wonder if there will be some financial statements on this later, cause the fact they came out of Walmart, it leads me to believe a few things:1. This may be the discretionary spending of very low wage people.
2. Walmart is getting it's cut, which may be sizeable.
Assuming this isn't "flash in the pan", this would be better served by being in Black-owned stores, with marketing behind it. That is unless Walmarts supply chain was too

Thats interesting. I didnt realize you got hit with fees. Thought it was more about convenience. i belong to a credit union but they share lending networks with other banks so no fees. I can see why switching is a better move.

Man last year I went IN on carbs, extra large pizzas, 2-3 dozen cookies etc, but ive been kinda chill this year. mostly complex carbs and fruits with a lil junk here and there.
