Man get the fukk out of here. Since when are fans not allowed to criticize bad play? Kobe has had bad games and god knows you haters love to talk about them. Kobe was pivotal for 3 championships with shaq and led the lakers for 2 chips post shaq, yet there is not a week that goes by without some type of kobe hate thread. You people are fukking delusional.

See, this is where a hoe like you is where out of your depth.

I love watching Kobe play. He's has the most complete offensive arsenal in maybe the history of the game. He's incredible, every game is a tutorial. That shyt is thrilling to somebody like me.

No question Pau's play has lagged the last 2-3 years, that's what happens when you sign a veteran big man to a long deal. The back end is a crap shoot.

But this board, and other lakernation boards and posters have used his weakened play to erase his contributions to the team. There's a revisionist streak to Laker (and specifically Kobe-) fans, that's been so offensive for so long, it's flat-out boring now. Oh, pau sucks, get rid of him. There are guys looking at Jordan Hill like he's an adequate replacement. Dude is doing 18-7 for the last month, and you're talking about him like he's Amar'e status.

Disgraceful ass Plaschke is writing columns on "Is this the best Gasol will be?" And he just gave you like 19/5/3/1.

All I'm saying is, keep it realistic. Fine, you don't like him anymore - that happens in sports - but let's not rewrite what he did on this team, like he was always "gasoft" and "poo" :mjpls:

So what you're saying is we should keep a player that's clearly fallen off and has been the direct cause of damn near everything negative for the Lakers on the basketball floor today and the past two seasons before? It'd be different if he were 2008 Pau but he's done.
That sounds like kobe to me :russ:

:heh: only with the lakers will muh'fukkas sit up and dead ass argue with fans of the team about a player they no longer want on their OWN team...like if a fanbase has been actively wanting a player gone from THEIR TEAM for 3 years straight, it says something...like, we have every incentive in the world to root for and support the guy...watch him play night in, night out over the course of years...and STILL want him gone (or at the very least back at VASTLY reduced price)...it says something, but instead we're in the wrong?? Far better players than Pau have been let go, without the swan song from non-fans of teams

The fukk outta here

Realistically, Pau has been dropping off at a consistent rate for 4 years now. It's not that people don't like him, he was obviously a huge part of the 08-11 run, but his production and impact on the court are dropping at a dramatic rate.

And unfortunately in D'Antoni's offense, Jordan Hill could replace Pau without much dropoff IMO. The coach has no idea how to use Pau. :smh:

How does saying pau sucks right now erase his past contributions? Pau is one of the greatest big men in lakers history and will get his jersey retired alongside kobe's. However pau right now is hurting the lakers team both offensively and defensively and it's painful to watch. Laker fans should be able to point it out without being called ungrateful.

I don't think it does. Laker fans do.

Pau has actually been playing quite well for the last month with only a few duds mixed in. For an outside project I've had to watch WAY TOO MUCH laker basketball lately.
