The only thing I agree with him is the adjustments part. Doc never, ever makes adjustments. So what he is saying is true. The example I always use is the Celtics vs Magic in 09. We were up 3-2 and could’ve beaten these guys easily had Doc made some adjustments. The Magic kept doubling Pierce the whole series but they doubled him in game 6 & 7 hard and Doc made no adjustments to free up our best scorer.

Doc definitely used PG wrong. But they both play that same SF position. I don't know why people thought he and KL were a good fit

Seemed like a good fit when they were like 20-1 or whatever in the regular season with both of them playing. They were a good fit when going up 3-1 and getting 12+ points leads in each of the succeeding games. PG is just not a big time playoff performer. When shyt gets hot, he folds. We've seen it happen with different teams and different coaches so this ain't just a kneejerk reaction to last year. Kawhi ain't what he (and plenty of others) thought he was either. Both them nikkas thought shyt was sweet. Now Doc most certainly has to wear that 3-1 collapse crown. However, you bring in 2 supposed superstars to carry shyt. The real issue is that neither PG or Kahwi is a facilitator or a leader. Neither has ever had those responsibilities and they (along with so many others) underestimated all that goes into both.

Both are known as 2 way players that can dribble pass and shoot and have the size and length to guard any perimeter player, or so they thought, but PG played like shyt.

They definitely fit. To say they don't is a lack of basketball sense, PG just played well below his expected level as a player.

Based on what exactly? Just because the season ended in disappointment (and the Lakers surely didn’t want to see the Clippers) doesn’t make him any less of a player.
