It doesn't matter. Indiana will match whatever is thrown at George.
They'll try to extend him this year and if they can't the same thing that happened with Hibbert last summer will happen with George.
Plus, Granger's contract comes off the books so they will have flexibility.
can't believe nobody posted "that's what she said" as a response to the thread title![]()
they can pay george, but I thought the pacers were adamant about NOT paying the luxury tax. which I believe they will be approaching if george and hibbert are on max deals, and u got west making bread.
this plus indiana has almost the worst attendance in the league which makes me believe they ain't about that spending either since their team isn't generating major revenue.
Paul George would find it tough to snub the Los Angeles Lakers should the team attempt to sign him next summer.
George will be a restricted free agent after the 2013-14 season if he doesn't sign an extension.
My heart is still in Indiana ... Im still a Pacer, and hopefully I remain a Pacer, George said when asked about his upcoming free agency. I'm happy where Im at.
A native of California, George was born in Palmdale and grew up cheering for Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.
Of course it would be tough (to say no to Kobe), said George. Youre talking about playing (at) home.
Butv who wants to play with Kobe?
It would be even tougher to figure out a way to convince the Pacers to not match whatever the Lakers would offer. More like impossible. Dude might as well buy a house in Indy, he's going to be there for awhile.
