If I'm the pelicans I'm trading 3 future firsts right now. Like the Cavs, I think if PG goes there he will resign.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Once they lose to GS or SA in 5, he headed to LA. PG wants to be a Laker and be a star in LA. Playing in Portland or Cleveland won't change that, plus I doubt he trying to play 2nd fiddle in Bron Ball

The Blazers would be official with him

Dame
CJ
PG
Nurkic

Is a great young core, he may not even make the playoffs with the Lakers.

I just don't see what Indy has to gain from any trade with Cleveland. If/when they trade George, they need to get young talent and bottom out. Love would help keep them relatively competitive, but he's not a guy to build around.

But he wants to be a Laker and live in LA. That's a good core but weak defensive potential...lakers got Ingram

James Johnson / Snell are about to get paid this summer, there's talk of Snell getting 4 years 50-60 million. I like Portis a lot, their biggest mistake was the McDermott trade, that is where they blew it more than anything else since Harris / Nurkic are both quality starters.

:what: THOSE STILL WERENT GOOD PICKS.

JAMES JOHNSON IS HIS 6TH TEAM
IN 8 SEASONS.

IDC WHAT IDIOT WANTS TO GIVE SNELL 50 MILLION.

EVAN TURNER BUM ASS GOT PAID TOO
AND HE WAS #2 OVERALL DRAFT PICK BUST.

BULLS HAVE DRAFTED HORRIBLY.

Your point was that he'd lose to the Warriors/Spurs, that's going to happen with the Lakers as well. The Blazers would have a lot of firepower with him and their assortment of garbage wings could play the 4.

The Blazers as a team are a good look for a SF :hubie:

If PG wins a ring with the Cavs, he would be MORE likely to go the Lakers because he got that championship monkey of his back and can "go home" and be a hero a la Lebron.

Lakers need to stand pat and save their assets for another piece.

If he gonna lose might as well do it in a city he wants to be in. Portland has proven players but I think the Lakers have a higher ceiling and they are younger.

They legit don't have any assets outside of Cousins/Davis/Holiday :francis:
I'm just talking straight up future picks they have no players anyone would be interested in at all other than the untouchables. Pacers aren't really in the position to reject anyone and other than Cleveland, I don't see any other teams with the pieces in place that could entice pg to resign long-term. If the Pacers don't like Love, Cleveland has no real picks to send If I'm not mistaken. I'm just spitballing tho :yeshrug:

He'll be 30 by the time those guys start coming into their own, the Blazers have guys in his age range right now playing at a high level.

A 1 year rental for him could be a 60 win team with the talent they have.

Shouts out to PG. If you gonna lose, might as well do it in a city with nice weather. :jawalrus:
