There's no point in trading for pg at this current time, there's only one caveat to things tho if the Lakers could trade Deng or mozgov soon then that would open the door for a trade but as of right now they are eating up too much cap which really restricts the Lakers from doing too much in the next free agency period a realistic deal would have to be Dlo+28th+deng or mozgov this is the only realistic deal I could see RIGHT now

Well in this case we would have to trade mozgov or deng now in a a deal for pg people keep saying we should just sign him in free agency when we have no cap flexibility we either have to trade Dlo or Randle Clarkson and the 28th or trade the second pick straight up with mozgov or deng them next year we will be in better shape to sign lbj

Exactly that's why it would be smart to work out a deal now when we have the most assets specifically the draft picks

Y'all can trade Clarkson to Utah(cheaper than maxing Hill) for a 1st or ship off Deng and a future 1st next year. Doing any of those options will create cap room to sign PG next year. Even if PG curves you, Lakers still have the pieces to successful 2 years from now.

We have assets outside of Lonzo. We have the 28 pick, we have Clarkson. Lonzo, DLO, Ingram are all not on the table for a potential deal. Even Espn is reporting this.
