Why do teams stay helping other teams that's way better than them?
Teams are worried about themselves. Denver wants to make the playoffs. Getting a 20 and 10 player on a cheap contract helps Denver move in the right direction especially if they somehow sign Chris Paul. They will challenge the Rockets for 3rd best team in the west.

But wouldn't the Pacers have to deal with Paul with 2 other elite players now. At least trade a mofo to a different conference :yeshrug:

With PG, that would actually be a super team. Mainly because they'd actually win games OR KEEP A LEAD when Bron isn't in. If you can't do that, then it can't be considered a super team
