DeAndre Liggins would be back in Cleveland if they get George, have him guard Curry.

his shot is awful and curry would "hide" on him. Key to beating the hoe ass warriors is making curry guard someone on defense and punishing him.

I know he guards JR usually but atleast u have to play him honest.

City of Angels :blessed:
That's giving up too much just to lose to the warriors in 5 every year for the next half decade imo

If i was magic i'd just keep my picks and just prepare to contend in the next superteam race (Sixers/wolves/bucks/celtics etc) :yeshrug:

Randle doesn't fit with a PG13/Ingram/Zubac front court and Ball makes Russell expendable.

Ball/Ingram/George is the core you build around. Other players will want to go to LA and play with them.

if ii'm cleveland i'm treating next years as lebrons swan song (thinking he's going to leave) so why not go get PG without assurances and if lebron and him leave after next year u get rid of their salaries and you give kyrie the keys along with TT liggins, and those other young players and go from there

the ether
are you trolling? PG guards durants, and the cavs can switch everything on the floor on the pick and roll. Also george can score without being spoonfed by lebron.

Cavs would ideally still be a wing short to actually beat GS when they insert the death lineup. Ideally lebron wants to guard green when the warriors go to that death lineup

Lebron/Green
PG/Durant
?????????/ Iggy
JR/Klay
Kyrie/Steph

Cavs need another 3 and D wing to open the floor.

Yeah, you've exactly nailed the issue. Cavs need two-way players, not 1-dimensional guys.

My all-in solution is to use Love to get Butler and Kyrie to get PG13, and force them to throw Teague in there too (maybe giving up Shump and JR in the trades as well). That leaves you with:

Teague
Butler
PG13
Lebron
TT

That's a starting lineup that could compete. PG13 as a 2nd option, Butler as a 3rd option, Teague as a 4th option....that's plenty of firepower for a contender. And on defense they'd be lights-out, able to guard anything and switch everyone (except big centers).

Ask for Rondo too in the Bulls trade, and you have:

Rondo
Felder or Liggins
Korver
Frye or Derrick Williams
Tavares

Which is a much more balanced 2nd unit than they had this year, because you have someone who can actually run an offense for the shooters without Lebron on the floor, along with enough defenders to not fall apart on that end. Put Frye at center with Korver and Felder in for an offense-heavy lineup, or Liggins/D-Will in at the same time for a defense-heavy lineup, or any balance you want.

is the PG to Cle stuff actually gonna happen?

There's a good chance, LeBron and Paul George are close friends and by stating that he will leave the Pacers in 2018, George is forcing the Pacers to deal him or lose him for nothing. I'm pretty sure this is no coincidence and LeBron and PG13 are in on this. How this plays out and what the Warriors do in retaliation will be :krillindead_1:
