Nah, they had two separate deals they were working on, Mudiay wasn't involved in the Butler deal because they were trying to trade him for Eric Bledsoe, then using other assets to get Butler.

That makes no fukking sense. Celtics have no assurance of an extension either, and it'll cost them way less players to sign him to an extension next year as opposed to now.

But... for reasons you've talked about I dont want both of George/Hayward, so I hope this happens
