Yet he’s a career 33% 3PT shooter. Tell me you didn’t watch Toine play, without telling me. :laff:

If he would've stuck with his 97-98 playing style before he fell in love with the three and didn't work as hard on the boards, he would've had a better career. At least he got a ring tho. :manny:

nikkas tryna hoe Cyber Toine? Employee #8 was fun to watch during his time with Pierce when he was giving the inside/outside combo. He was legit handling and pulling like a guard, which was rare at that time.

And it undermined how talented he was. Employee #8 could really handle the ball, pass and post-up. Never completely focused on the court though.

If he played today and took the game serious, he'd really thrive, imo. Today's style would really suit him.

Imagine (a committed) Toine in today's NBA as a Stretch 4 or Small-ball 5 with a face up game with handles, post moves, AND with a decent 3 point shot?

None of that analtyic bullshyt would tell you what exactly what was going on. He was good enough from 3 that you had to guard him, a couple percentage points be dammed, I saw the shyt with my own two eyes. He would feast and probably shoot at a higher clip in todays game because it would damn near be expected.

You gotta be effective to be ahead of your time. :why:

Teams were letting Toine shoot because he was damn good in the post, but would rather shoot a three. It reminds me of Webber in DC.

Pierce has terrible bball takes.

he'd shoot at a better clip today purely off the fact that modern offenses realize how important that type of thing is and utilize it better :manny:

real talk tho we all saw those low scoring ass playoff games

if Antoine was ahead of his time celtics would have been blowin em out and they would have made the finals in those years.

this shyt would be like ricky davis was ahead of his time because he knew how to stat pad :russ:

by the way AI antoine walker used to win MVP in the first season of like 99% of my NBA Live 2003 seasons, so at least he has that.
