I guess this is where we can agree to disagree. Yes I do remember those teams being top heavy.........with 3 of the top 12 Greatest players of all time. Even if you single cover Shaq and Kobe (which to be fair you admitted they'd lose to) and let them go off too play tight D on the others........it's not like every other player is going to have 0 points. Same with the spurs. I wasn't really taking account the end of the decade Lakers, b/c they went 2-1 barely w them C's. I just don't think those Celtics beat the Spurs, Lakers or Pistons. I see where you're coming from though.
You're really underrating how good that Celtics team really was breh.

I don't even understand why there would be a 10yr celebration of the 08 title squad? They only won one. You didn't have 10yr anniversary with the 04 Pistons, any of the Lakers or Spurs squads etc. And Celtics are the weakest of the bunch.
'08 Celtics are one of the G.O.A.T. teams, breh. They have a strong case for being the best defensive team in NBA history. They won 66 games with a 10.26 point margin of victory. It's core is composed of three top 50 players (KG, Pierce, Allen), a future All-Star PG (Rondo), Kendrick Perkins before he became trash, and memorable role players like Sam Cassell, James Posey, Eddie House, Tony Allen, P.J. Brown, Leon Powe, Big Baby Davis, Brian Scalabrine. A lot of classic moments that culminated in a Lakers vs. Celtics Finals and KG's "Anything is possible" victory speech.

Also, the team was pretty influential, we don't see Miami's Big 3 if it's not for these guys. A lot of the defensive strategies used in the league over the past couple of years are things that Tom Thibodeau was doing as assistant coach under Doc Rivers on this team.

they would've won 2 or 3 if they could've stayed healthy come playoff time.

as people already said, the only team that's seeing them in the 2000s is the 3-peat lakers.

No they wouldnt of

in 2010, they had the lakers down 3-2 before perkins went down.

and that lakers squad with world peace was better than the team that won the previous year, where KG missed the playoffs.

I'm being generous by saying that maybe the lakers would've squeezed out one ring if the Celtics stayed healthy.
