He has won every single possible trophy for a reason and he was always a starter. Which midfielder is clearly better than him aside from Modric? Vidal maybe, Thiago, Verratti? those are probably at the top of the tier list right now and they are not clearly better than him, they may be different and do some things better, they can't pass, control the game and shoot like him though and the overall package is about the same quality. Real have the best midfield in the world by far right now, and they only use 3 players there, and sometimes Isco, if anything, he doesn't get talked about as much as he should.

if Real replace him with any other highly regarded midfielder and have them play with Modric. They win the same amount of trophies. Replace Kroos with Vidal, Thiago, Gundagen, Pogba, Keita; Verratti, even Di Maria, they have the same trophy count or maybe even more. Besides safe passing percentage, he's not better than those guys at other stuff.
And he barely even played in the knockout stage games when Bayern won their CL in 2013
Only Verratti and Thiago can replace him and replicate what that midfield provides as a partnership and that is with them sacrificing the adventurous part of their game . Gundogan has been injured so much and only ever had that one good season for Dortmund and that's about it he is not anywhere close to Kroos at the moment and even at his best could not displace him for the NT. . Kroos controls the tempo of the game and his high passing percentage is what makes him good at that role .Vidal and Pogba played their best football in a team that had Pirlo and Marchisio. They were soundly beaten by Barcelona in 2015 because they couldn't choke off their midfield to stop service to the front 3. DiMaria is a winger and the brief time he played in midfield for Ancelotti does not mean he could do that in the Zidane set up. He did not play in 2013 because he got injured but he had displaced Robben in that line up leading to the game against Juve. Hell he had an even better performance against Mourinho's Real in 2012 playing with Gustavo.
Give me facts breh.Aside from dribbling, Pogba isn't better than Kroos at anything, stop it, he was the most replaceable midfielder in Juventus, Marchisio, Pirlo and Vidal were better than him.
How is Kroos, a multi-champion and proven player overrated but a 22 year old Keita who just had a good season better than him? and they are hardly the same type of player, Keita is much more comparable to Modric than Kroos, but he's just a prospect, chill, everybody knows the bundesliga is trash and top heavy.
Di Maria is different too and on the midfield he's only suited to counters, Real Madrid doesn't park the bus anymore, so no, they wouldn't get better with him.
Vidal is not the same type of player either, I'm a fanboy but he doesn't have the vision, the long and short passing, the playmaking ability, the outside shot, the precision on set pieces that Kroos has, he compensates his technical "flaws" as a midfielder with hustle and good defensive and offensive positioning as a box-to-box should but with the ball on his feet he isn't nearly as talented.
Verratti and Thiago are arguable but yet they haven't won nearly as much as Kroos while being starters and both play with squads who are on par with Real's.

Kroos was a starter in 2013, let's not play dumb, he was their best center midfielder and has probably been the best german player since 2013, if you don't count Neuer.

Delli Alli is a less talented version of Frank Lampard yet he's a second strikers at best with zero elite midfield quality. below average playmaker(i'm not talking about assist because that doesn't really constitute playmaking) slightly above average technique with a good shot and final pass. He don't really be in the midfield like that.
why are you comparing a less talented tanned version of Frank Lampard with a tape up to a proper central midfield like Pogba. Did you not see how Pogba easily outclassed him in the Eng vs Fra match?
