he's better off on a indie :yeshrug:why sign to another major label when he was struggling to escape one before? Makes no sense.

He was trying to escape Jimmy Iovine who was trying to end his career. Now his friend is the CEO of Def Jam....why wouldn't he sign? that is better than being indie because you have direct access to the man controlling the budgets and you don't have to spend your own money, depending on the deal. Now he might have the machine backing him again.

I still think he's better off as a indie, he doesn't need to answer to anybody to release music. Most artists move like a indie artist or are now on a indie label. Majors ain't really putting money into artists unless you're an artist like Drake, Kendrick or J. Cole. He shouldn't worry about signing to a major this late in his career. I don't see 50 rapping for long anyways. Look at Westside Gunn & Conway who signed to Shady, signing to a major slows down your major projects being released.
