I said black people should be more involved in capitalism and economics so that then we can buy politicians, instead of worrying about trinkets like diversity or affirmative action

Money is more important than diversity, that's why this picture means nothing
The idea behind diversity is that money is a huge part of it :deadrose:
Go look at the Kleiner Perkins associate list, then look at the intern list.
One of the most powerful venture capital firms in the world and not a single Black person.
You think all those Asian and White kids libraried their way into high-intensity STEM fields with connections across the US? :heh:

The democrats were the party of Jim crow and KKK up until Barry goldwater...we forgave them for 140 years of racism in just one or two election cycles :dead:
black people were republican when they weren't the divisive party and the democrats were the party of racist rich southerners convincing poor whites that their failures in life were the fault of black people. black republicans and populists in the south were working together during reconstruction to try and defeat the racist democrats. and when that flipped black people went to the democratic party and the southern white democrats left the party and took up residence in the republican party and the rockefeller republicans slowly started being eradicated. if it ever flips again we'll leave again. and don't act like it's only black people that made the move, whites did too. the passage of the civil rights act was a clear demarcation point in american political party history.

history has proven that it's not hard for political parties to get our vote. we're not all liberal, a good chunk is socially conservative, but just don't be racist. for the non-c00ns in our ranks, that's #1, then the other issues.

what you just wrote doesn't disprove the portion of my post you bolded. throughout history blacks have gravitated towards parties that weren't openly hostile to them and whites have gravitated towards parties that were openly hostile to black people. that's still true today. no republican message is going to get through even if you put your black face on it because the republican party doesn't satisfy rule #1: DON'T BE RACIST.

I admit there are Idiots in that party like steven king...he dropped out of college cos biology was too hard so he really shouldnt be making any statements on Race but its a mistake to assume the democrats are less racist...they may not blurt it out as openly but if you look at the paternalistic attitudes and fukked up policies you will see the same thing.
Both parties are racist, thats why i reject them both...i prefer to support individuals.
