Slaps have historically been known to incite punching as a response throughout much of human history.
best to simply avoid slapping people if you are trying to avoid getting punched in retaliation. rather than doing it anyways and hoping by some miracle that they resist human nature and turn the other cheek for a second slap.
In fact although i applied this to human nature, it is really applicable to any of Gods creatures, slap a wild animal and they'll respond the same way most likely
