best to simply avoid slapping people if you are trying to avoid getting punched in retaliation. rather than doing it anyways and hoping by some miracle that they resist human nature and turn the other cheek for a second slap.

Court doesn't always get things right, Court should consider that a reasonable and expected response to being slapped, since it is to be expected.
