Don't forget CRT TVs were analogue so the triangle graphics blended properly.

These games were not designed on or intended for digital screens which is why they "look" so bad in hindsight.

Aside from the graphics the gameplay was perfect.

I can still play Mario 64 and OoT and not feel outdated.
