Not at all. don't really care about the statistical number of people with Coprolalia,

just wanted to know how Coprolalia is even a thing.
Its a neurological disorder. They say its due to irregularities in the limbic system of the brain caused by the disorder. People that dont have tourettes can have the disorder too and its due to various brain traumas. Most of which are degenerative. My mother had a neurological disorder that caused brain lesions and that was a symptom they spoke about being a possibility. Beyond that, I couldnt tell you more without being a doctor or at least researching it.

but specific language seems improbable. My mistake for not just saying coprolalia in the beginning.
It is usually vocal tics (throat clearing and grunts) as opposed to actual curse words but when that does occur, it's complicated but it may be tied to some level of vocal aggression. Either ways, most agree there is either some damage or crossed wires causing it and it tends to be words not often used. That said, I'm still waiting for the day I come across one who blurts out "onomatopoeia". What a day that will be. :wow:

I read somewhere the reason they swear is because the language is taboo - it's like they're trying so hard not to swear that part of their brain makes them use the very words they're trying so hard not to say. It's kind of like when you bite the inside of your cheek and you feel compelled to poke the wound with your tongue even though you know it's going to hurt. It's a compulsion.

I had a classmate whose little brother would yell "Train car!". We were in 6th grade and so he was probably in 4th. I hope he grew out of that shyt. Because how random of an adult to say that in particular. :skip:
