I graduated with a bachelors in history and enough credits to minor in afam history. I felt weird about actually filing the paperwork for my minor because I didn’t know if it would be overstepping boundaries (because I’m a Cracker ass cracker)

One of my favorite professors got pissed because the more people who are on paper as studying a specific discipline means that department gets more funding. Moral of the story is......I don’t know. She’s fine tho.

Don't feel wierd I had a white US history teacher in High school say it was ironic that the first Black millioniaress got rich by selling "Hot Combs" later I found out that this wasn't actually correct Mary Pleasant was the first Black Millionairess (but she could pass for white) and Sarah Breedlove didn't invent the Hot comb or hair relaxer.

I had a Indian Trini World Civ Professor in college help a World War II vet get a medal of honor.

Are you remedial? I literally said "Others allow us to enjoy their culture but from a distance and always let you know you ain't one of them."

This has been proven time and time again. No one said you can't enjoy another person's culture but there's a difference in the level of involvement and ingratiating that's allowed in those cultures.

Black Republicans are 9/10's props and get used by the GOP to push agendas and then get bushed if they dare step outta line:mjlol:

fukk are you talking about???

There's been black Republican presidential candidates, a black Republican supreme court justice, many black figures on the alt right white supremacist wing. These people are embraced by whites for whatever reason whether they were a convenient excuse for whites or because they were full believers in white supremacy. She is not some particular case that needs to be pointed out as if it doesn't happen in white culture. As I said you have no idea wtf you're talking about and just want to complain to complain.

Token for show don’t count. Where are the black members of the Italian American association?

Nikkas made her purge the page?? I only see 10 photos on the ig

:russ:

She could be interning at some white company and want to get back to the white world. I never heard of Langston University. This could be a blip in her life story maybe something to write a clout chasing book about or pull out to prove that she's "down" when needed.

Token for show? Clarence Thomas actually drives conservative policy on the supreme court. Like he is an actual safeguard of white supremacy in the US. In comparison, what power does this woman hold? You guys may be shocked but white culture accepts a lot of blacks that act a way they view as acceptable. Being one of the good ones is a legitimate stereotype based on history. I don't see how the white culture embrace of black conservatives who uphold white supremacy is any different than this girl attending an HBCU and being a leader in a couple of organizations. In fact, the comparison from the beginning was nonsensical because this woman does not hold the type of power in the black community that some of these black conservatives hold in the white community.

The majority of the popular black conservatives are only popular, and accepted because they publicly bash black people, and claim racism isn’t a problem.

You saw what they did to Michael Steele. He got that wake up call. The only time Tim Scott is brought out, is to defend Republicans from being racist. Black people do not need a white person to bash white people in order to be accepted.

And white people, usually conservative, tend to think their black friends are “different”. They wouldn’t feel comfortable being in a predominantly black environment, but welcome their ONE black friend, and that friend’s family into their spaces.

I don't really care why they're accepted and I already acknowledge that black conservatives are accepted into white culture because they support the white power structure. My argument was a response to the original poster I quoted that said white culture doesn't embrace black people like black culture embraces a white woman like the OP. That is obviously false. That's the point I'm trying to make.

Yeah, I don’t have a problem with white professors teaching any “ethnic studies” or whatever. They do have a duty To teach from a strictly historical perspective and not some emotional level they don’t understand. They also have to be willing to listen to their students who might have insight they could never know. A lot of liberal professors fall short unfortunately.

Blonde Instagram Model Goes Viral for Graduating from HBCU and Pledging Delta Sigma Theta!

A blonde woman is going viral this morning, for graduating from A Historically Black College while pledging a Black sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
@Blonde_HBCU

The woman, an IG model who goes by the name Vanessa, is going viral after millions started sharing her photo online.

Vanessa recently graduated from Langston University. She also pledged Delta Sigma Theta, a Black sorority.

And that's not all. Here's a full list of her accomplishments while in school:

Summa **** Laude
Class of 2020 Vice President
Women of Purpose President
Business Club Vice President
NAACP Community Service Chair
Accounting Club Treasurer
Alpha Chi Honor Society
Dean’s Honor Roll
President’s Honor Roll
Spring 2020 Initiate of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Langston University (LU) is a public university in Langston, Oklahoma. It is the only historically black college in the state.

Though located in a rural setting 10 miles (16 km) east of Guthrie, Langston also serves an urban mission, with University Centers in both Tulsa (at the same campus as the OSU-Tulsa facility) and Oklahoma City, and a nursing program set to open in Ardmore.

The university is a member-school of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.

Here's more from her instagram account:

What's crazy is if you go on that HBCU Pride page, the post right after this one is of a black woman (who's also a Delta), but it only got a fraction of the likes, comments and shares...

Kinda proves another Shea butter talking point. I never heard of that page but I learned that the Ebony magazine's Black Homecoming Queens page was bougie thirst traps and also about trying to get them jobs.

I mean if nikka was looking at HBCU cheerleaders or HBCU homecoming Queens or Black female graduates who just happened to be fly it's clearly designed to get that student athelete who was told that he could walk on or ride the bench at Ohio state to start at Alcorn state.

Like I said at most schools there's at least one or two white folks there. I wonder what they do to ensure that they don't run for Homecoming queen and win?

Like I said with the white girl at my school her friend wanted her to be a Delta and the rest of the chapter said Hell No. How could people finesse it at a state HBCU and not get sued for discrimination. Rachel Dolazol sued Howard for discrimination.
