Everybody says they got worse beatings or that kids these days deserve it.

Man listen.

This shyt doesn't work. Hitting your kids only works as long as they're afraid of getting hit.
Once they have no fear of it, you have no other options to discipline or teach that child. And all you've done is built up a lot of hate and resentment.

It doesn't teach. It doesn't correct bad behavior.
Prisons and graves are full of people who got a lot of ass whoopings.
It didn't do shyt for them.

Do better.
So I'm what you're saying is, like everything that "works" it only does so sometimes. Well obviously breh. It teaches consequences to actions. Whether they care about the consequences or not is an entirely different thing to address.

And the world is full of people who aren't dead or in prison because they did get disciplined physically as well so this isn't really a strong argument. You could make the argument that more people are in prison for assault than murder because they got their ass beat and made aware of consequences. They chose the lesser action of beating somebody ass than killing them due to that. Who really knows honestly. But you can't say something doesn't work when there are people telling you it worked for them.

Crazy how things have changed so much in like 20 years or so. Growing up, I had teachers and coaches that would dish out corporal punishment. And parents would be fully aware and sometimes encourage it. :damn: And I grew up in Chicago, I can't even imagine some of the Old Testament punishments y'all southern boys went through growing up.

So now we are going back to the same point I already made about your good parents and better upbringing. Lol

You grew up resenting nikkas like me because we clowned on nikkas like you and got all the hoes huh?

:pachaha:

Let it go Breh. That was back in the day.

You are in style now, all the chicks I turned out are looking for nikkas like you right now.
In what world does having a father who demanded respect make a nikka less popular with the hoes? Fatherless nikkas will say anything to compensate.. :pachaha:

If anything having a father gives children better outcomes which would explain why I have more money and live a better life than you do....:umad:

Hitting kids doesn’t work for anyone.
None of you got hit and started acting right because it was the right thing to do.

You did so to avoid the abuse.
And then time passes and you get over it or forget about the pain and laugh at it on some warped nostalgia shyt like “haha I got hit. I turned out okay”

If violence was a proper form of social education it wouldn’t stop at childhood. We would be advocating for it for adults too. But we aren’t out here pushing for 35 year old men to get a belt to their ass for income tax fraud.

There’s a message there.

Punishments only work when the person dislikes the punishment. Breaking news at 10 folks.

Prisons and graves are also full of people who didnt get ass whoopings, so what’s your point there?

You gotta find the punishment that works. And guess what, sometimes you may need to change it. My parents were confused as fukk when they took away my PlayStation as a punishment and I just read science journals. I kept reading the journals when I got my PlayStation back. So the next time I got in trouble I heard my mom saying to my dad “well we can’t take away the damn journals, that is helping him in school, WTF we supposed to do”. :mjlol:

Just because your parents didn’t find the right punishment for you isn’t a good argument for hitting.

I would think someone smart enough to absorb science journals would understand this.

1. anybody who goes back and forth to this extent and keeps repeating the same things has an ego issue... there's some insecurity that had you repeating what I already addressed... that is a sign of a nikka who wasn't him growing up

2. what city are you in?
