You're forgetting the fact that these events happened in two different countries. Ray rice is virtually unknown in the UK so therefore the media attention there will be non existent for him whilst the billionaire dude is also not very well known in America so his story won't be wall to wall in America.

If ray rice was a black English footballer who beat the shyt out of his wife, do you really think American media will be showing the beating 24/7? Nope, because no one in America will give a shyt.
