Actually gave me some kind of wrestling PTSD, not used to seeing normal people control the wrists, ironically:

Basic grappling advice, simply grab their wrists in situations like this, you can take it around with a wrap, and even bring it to the ground to get a lock with your legs, but simply grabbing an inexperienced persons wrists will nullify most of what they could think to do, from there, you either break and leave or get her to calm down.

I just say this as someone who has dealt with a violent bipolar type, the goal should be to deescalate as much as possible but if you are going to sit around and the person won't stop that silly "game" shyt, then you need to know how to restrain. I call it "games" because I could tell she was trying to bait me into a violent response.
