Hollywood loves doing the most and then never committing to it wholesale, while patting themselves on the back for inclusivity points.

Just saying if one day the writer or producer says Gwen was born Gerry Stacy, don't be surprised.

I was more bothered by the fack that miles’ father jefferson apparently took his wifes last name. They call him captain jeff morales in this movie. His last name used to be davis,

When I took my son yesterday morning to see it, the showing was sold out. We were at the first showing (had to see it at 9:45 because he was headed to his dad’s right after) and it was packed. When we left, the theater was crowded with kids and parents who were there to see it too.

My son was super excited to see it, because he loved the first one. He legit wanted to see it the first day it came out(Thursday). It was good. My son liked the music. We all had some laughs. Nice action. Family dynamics were interesting in this one.

I forgot that his mom was latina. But is his dad black ados or a black Latino? Im curious if Miles is mixed.

The romance was there but at the same time… It wasnt a huge focus IMO.

I admit I haven’t seen little mermaid. I asked my son if he wanted to see it and he looked at me like it was an idiotic question and said no. I heard it was good though. Both movies have done well.
