I suppose he rationalized that it wasn't that bad if he is living at home and eating Mama's food. It's probably even more than 1350 because for a young person with bad credit , insurance has to be at least 4 or 5 hundred for that kind of vehicle.But surely there are better things he could have put that 1350 a month into as a young dude like school or hobbies or games or women .
It's shame that he got his mother to cosign it , because now he can't let it get repossessed without ruining her credit.

if he saved that car payment for 2 years he could've just bought the thing outright for cash.
