Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
:wow:

Lady at my job just got ripped off something serious.

2021 LE for 40 fukking thousand dollars.

That's the base model, brehs.

And she put down damn near 10K with her trade-in.

She :mjcry: rn. The dealership said they don't want the car back.

I kinda wish I hadn't let her know she got robbed cause now she's stressed

Was the interest high or something?
not at all. great rate.

she got robbed with the price. It shouldn't have cost $40k. The interest was only 2% for 6 years. The price is the problem.

I learned something new today, though. Florida has no "cooling off" period when you buy a car

yeah man car salesmen love to pray on women because they don't know the difference half the time between trims and how much stuff should cost. They gave her an mark up rate like crazy and if I was her I would try to sell it asap and don't put any miles on it.

Reason it came up is cause I work at a credit union and took a second look at her paperwork.

According to the system her car is worth 23k. She paid 40k and owes Toyota 30k. There's no way out for her unless she totals her car and has GAP insurance

Yea but she would take a massive loss there too….she’ll never get back that 15K loss. Either she totals the car or drive it until the end.

only thing I can see was she was hella upside down on her trade... its not adding up if her credit was good
