Everyone finds their pleasure in different places, I bought a Xbox one for 60 bucks after a few trade ins, I'm also going to take my dad to NXT for Father's Day and my step daughter to MSG to see WWE with floor seats in a few weeks
Both those experiences together will cost me an xbox one x

The 4k shyt really isn't some revelation, it's not like going from SD to HD was.
I don't know a single person who owns a 4k TV. Much less alone bought an updated 4k console, they already probably own, to match their 4k tv.
If I was 21 maybe that would be something, but i feel like these systems play to such a small demographic.Parents ain't really gonna buy their kid some shyt they already have for a resolution difference their kid probably doesn't even know or would care about. Adult gamers with families and mortgages would probably just think is is extensive for no reason. Hardcore gamers who are graphic whoring probably would prefer a PC.
What is the target demographic here?
Console gamers who want the best hardware.
It's a niche product, and they know that, that's why all games and accessories work with other xbox ones. It's pretty clear they chasing every audience
