I wish I could've gotten a mazda 6 as my first car :whew:

They ain't have any near me at that time though. Plus, my dad ain't really trust them compared to toyota and honda
They've been Honda/Toyota quality or better for like 20 years now, they just drive more reactively than some people like. Low key they're trying to compete with the luxury brands now.
I bought an '09 Mazda6 literally fresh off the dealer delivery truck....that depreciation :wow:
I'm looking at a CX-50 or CX-70 now but I'm trying to hold off for a hybrid version if not full electric.

Nah their inline6 engines aren’t seeing Honda’s now defunct V6 at any point, nor are they as buttery as Toyota’s V6. Mazda’s turbo 4 engines are solid though. Quality wise, they cheap-out on their smaller vehicles, more plastic in the interior and they aren’t as put together than say the CX-90. They definitely been trying to go upmarket the past decade or so, trying to compete with Acura and Volvo.

According to reviews and users, Mazda has stepped up their game as far as reliability goes.

I'm thinking about getting a CX-5 myself...but not for 62k lol. I'm dropping cash on it or near cash.

Right. I don’t need something new that bad. I mean I don’t feel bad going back five years on a car now because they have so much shyt in them now. I got a 2019 last year and I’m very happy with it.
What did you get?

Fassho, mazda gets slept on

It's funny too cause my dad's a ford guy but mazda was owned by ford for a bit. A lot of tech used in mazda cars went into ford vehicles as well

Like how the first gen fusion was built using the 6's platform

The tail lights on the late 90s taurus being inspired by the fd rx7 is hilarious to me :mjlol:

Also, i think they should've came out with a luxury division like lexus or acura

Mazda's been making great cars, but with them being an underdog already, it'll be even harder to convince people to pay bmw prices for a Mazda

I was hoping those rumors of a RWD next generation Mazda 6 with a twin turbo inline 6 were true

Not looking likely according to leaks :francis:

But those CX's are pretty nice. Hope you can cop one like you want. I feel like full electric gotta be on the way with how the industry seems to be pushing hard for it
