I was a full grown adult when I found out that ambulance rides aren't free. Now I'm "today yrs old" and just finding out about this

my dad got hit by a car walking home about a month ago now lady only got 15k in insurance ambulance company sent us a letter saying they want 2k for a 20min ride to the hospital

way it was worded sounded like if my dad was to sue they want they money so im not sure whats gonna happen with that 15k he supposed to get since apparently the hospital want some money as well

When I worked in the ER there was this lady that came in with a "heart attack" literally every week, sometimes twice a day.

She would call 911 and they would have to send her an ambulance.

Everybody would look at her like

There was nothing wrong with her. Absolutely nothing with her heart.

Im laughing under the assumption they not dead. I personally would have had a heart attack being im already dont like heights. I bet they still sent a helicopter bill too smh.
