Way back, I was at an unusually low point personally (external stressors, illness, etc). My man wasn't initiating sex as often,, he was working a lot, and I had insecure people in my ears. So I started wondering, wtf, right? Like women tell each other, 'If he ain't getting it at home, he getting it in the street.'

So I, normally supremely confidant, started low key questioning him. He's an honorable man (which is why I chose him in the first place) and thus, took GREAT offense at the suggestion. We were arguing, I told him to take his ass on, etc. Bad scene.

Later, when we'd re-initiated normal sexual relations, he explained that he called himself giving me a break since, after all, I was dealing with all those external stressors. I felt dumb.
