Sub out the RT; make it a locked 30fps, and I can see it running on a PS4.
Y'all top stan JackmoveJohnny said the same thing about Ratchet being a PS4 game :hubie:
Basically change everything about the game and it can run on an older system... Got it.

Just make Halo Infinite 30fps, Sub 720P, lower the fidelity of the world, add fewer enemies, no RT and I can see it running on a 360... right?

I mean, go play God of War and then try to fast travel to another part of the world and what happens? A void of some sort appears for you to walk through which conveniently is a winding path that can take about 20~30 seconds or more to "load" the level you selected. it's just hidden behind some sort of game mechanic/lore.

Yet in Ratchet the game is flipping you between worlds almost instantly like in the first big boss fight.

You already have a stripped down version on the PS5 disc.

The PS4 version would just be the “performance” version at 30fps and 900p-1080p

we have seen other games do it. Even insomniacs own Spiderman.

you think somehow ratchet can’t?? :dahell:

that actually shows why the SSD isn't needed. since he was able to walk around with both 'worlds' being visible, it shows both levels were able to be loaded into the memory at the same time. this could also be done beforehand since the rift is in a known location

this is similar to how Dishonored 2 was able to pull off the Crack the Slab mission

That's not the areas where it's used.
Totally different.
