Damn. this was an essential store for a poor kid like myself growing up. I remember getting my ass kicked behind some payless tennis shoes i was wearing as a youngster, even though i later realized other nikkas mothers were going broke buying Jordans for their sons.
Fast foward to now and my parents retired comfortably due to raising us economically. Payless was essential to that, oddly enough.
Salute to payless for providing affordable footwear options to the poor youth from back in the day.
The brand is worth alot though. Im sure they'll be bought out.
