They managed to make it look better than HZD

That's not really difficult to do. HZD leans heavily on the colour saturation being bumped up more than the average. That's not a new trick. The graphics-over-everything crowd will chase anything shiny. The game fortunately gets balanced out by a decent original story and some interesting game engine/physics choices.

Taken away from the consoler standard and put on pc to really push the boundaries, a lot of things will get exposed that consolers regularly swallow as normal.
