gaming at higher resolutions. I have 2 gpus. I need it to play at greater than 1080p all ultra 60fps. I can even play GTA V at 45fps all ultra at 6K with my cards. Other games can only do 1440p (like the Witcher 3). 2 cards are needed if you want to go above 1080p (which I highly recommend). at 1080p you only need one card
