He was referring to Dark Souls. you actually turn your character to face the enemies as opposed to just clicking where you want to swing

Dark Souls was fundamentally broken on PC, nothing about it was insanely better than its console iteration; being able to shuffle through a menu with a mouse doesn't negate that.

Sounds dumb but to me it's almost too easy to just point and click on things. Technically it's better but for some reason I prefer the mastery of the sticks. I just feel like point and click is borderline easy mode for FPS.

I've played with the mouse and its a shytty experience. Takes all the immersion away.

Then I'm lugging around my big ass powerhouse of a desktop around. Come on man just admit console gaming is way better when it comes to comfort.

i play on my couch on my pc with a 50 inch tv hooked up with hdmi. im just as comfortable as any console gamer

a mouse is a pointing device. it's designed to quickly and accurately move a cursor to a specific place on the screen. it's pretty much perfect for aiming in a FPS

a joystick is for moving pacman in a certain direction. and that's generally how it is trying to move a cursor or crosshair with an analog stick. it's pretty slow and not that accurate
