honestly bro...if you gotta do a side by side comparison then that's not a huge jump compared t how much more money you spend to get a super high end pc. I'm glad I didn't go the pc route when I was thinking about it last year...to me it's not worth it...these new consoles do a good enough job and are more streamlined with better features....im good.I have a very high end PC(780 Ti's in SLI), PS4 and xbone and PC looks significantly better. Most people judge it because they are used to sitting on their couch watching their tv's from 10 feet away and not a monitor from a foot away. Do a side by side comparison with any game on next gen vs a good pc and the foliage, jaggies, framerate, etc. will be very noticeable. Also a sata 3 ssd makes PC gaming worth it alone. Then we have tri screen, 4k, oculus rift above 1080p, mods, steam sales and countless other benefits. I love my ps4 but don't shyt on PC until you've really done it

whenever I consider buying a console, I think to myself "but I could use that money to buy some diamond encrusted SATA cablesWhy not have it all?![]()
"lol that doesnt even look like a video game
Not to sound like a douche but I can afford it so it's worth it to me. I want the definitive version of multi plat games and PC is usually that. PC is just a different experience that often requires tinkering and I like overclocking and mods and shyt like that. I enjoy consoles for their simplicity and completely understand that most people just wanna pick up a controller and hit play. But I like discovering what my hardware is capable of and if a game can be brought to a new dimension by modders that developers never would have tried. Also once you go beyond the horizontal vision of 1080p it's hard to go back, not necessarily clarity but FOV. I think that's what ciggavelli is trying to say it's like tri screen just makes you look at games in a completely different manner. I have all the consoles but I would rather have my PC than all of them combined.honestly bro...if you gotta do a side by side comparison then that's not a huge jump compared t how much more money you spend to get a super high end pc. I'm glad I didn't go the pc route when I was thinking about it last year...to me it's not worth it...these new consoles do a good enough job and are more streamlined with better features....im good.
Once I seen battlefield 4 on ps4 I'm thinking this shyt doesn't look much different than high end pc version...not enough to be dropping 300+ on a graphics card alone.
Gaming PCs can be breathtaking graphically if you know what you are doing and you have the money to spend of the right hardware but at the end of the day I still think consoles are better. Consoles >>>>> PC Gaming

-BRB, games typically have a MUCH larger online community with consoles.
-BRB, the online communities for games tend to last a lot longer unlike the PC with non cult following games.
-BRB, I know a lot more people with consoles IRL than with expensive gaming rigs
-BRB, I can rent games, borrow and redbox new joints I want to test out.
-BRB, my gaming setup is ultra portable and I can move it anywhere as long as there is a TV.
-BRB, don't have to worry about my system overheating from the intense gaming.
-BRB, I am guaranteed to play any game that is released for that console for its entire lifespan without worrying about specs.
-BRB, I can play multiplayer with my friends in the same room.(Used to do this a lot with Halo Reach and my friends in college until like 4am. Used to go on McDonalds/Cookout runs, shyt talk people online, have people stop by the apartment/dorm, etc)
-BRB, I can sell my games to gamestop, on craigslist, etc when I get bored with them.
-BRB, automatic updates and easy installations. Also DLC is hassle free, just buy and install.
-BRB, I don't have to worry about performance issues. Some PC games are poorly optimized regardless of how well your rig is.
-BRB, usually a better quality choice of games. PC has some amazing games but there is A TON of garbage and no-name shovelware titles.
-BRB, controllers are just a lot more carefree than keyboard and mouse. Some games on PC aren't useful with a controller so you have to use keyboard/mouse.
-BRB, I can put on Netflix with my console AND browse around on my laptop.
-BRB, I can play Blurays on my TV unencumbered in full HD. (Yes I know you can bluray on the PC if you have a bluray drive, HDMI cable, etc, it's just easier to pop a bluray in your PS3/PS4 and watch the movie)
-BRB, console stores have plenty of demos, exclusives and discounts for games. (There's STEAM but that's pretty much it as far as touching console stores in terms of quality. Origin sucks ass.)
-BRB, Fighting games are usually always better on the console. Framerate, controls, etc are critical to these games and consoles take care of these problems for you.
-BRB, I can spend 150-300 on a used console that will last me almost a half a decade in terms of entertainment. I don't know any PC that can play triple A releases with normal settings for up to 5+ years for simply 200 dollars.
-BRB, Gaming news and information is a lot more frequent and plentiful for consoles. PC gaming news is catered usually towards hardcore gamers and not all of us are people with an infinite amount of disposable time.
-BRB, can boot up COD, play a few matches and then bounce after 20-30 minutes. With PC gaming, it's much harder to do this and people get REALLY angry when you leave a match early or not play to their liking. They will have you banned/booted for the tiniest shyt imaginable. Nerds typically can be complete buzzkills for casual gamers because they often take things WAY too seriously. With consoles, I can form clans or join a hardcore mode if I'm tired of n00bs but casuals can still play the regular mode.
-BRB, there are a lot more casual gamers on console. PC gamers can take themselves too seriously sometimes which makes it harder to newbies to get onboard the tight knit online communities in PC games. The learning curves are easier to swallow on consoles for people with lives outside of gaming.
PC games are usually sharper, load times are MUCH faster and Steam sales can get you some cheap titles but PC has too many flaws for me to say it's better than console gaming. There are some legendary PC games like Civilization that offer an experience that can't be replicated on console but PC has too many flaws. Although I personally find Elder Scrolls and Fallout type of games much better on PC due to mods/faster load times/ better graphics, etc but that's more of an exception than the rule. And yes, I own 40+ games on my PC but I still prefer my console.![]()

-BRB, games typically have a MUCH larger online community with consoles.
the largest gaming communities are on PC.. The most played games are on PC, its not even close.-BRB, the online communities for games tend to last a lot longer unlike the PC with non cult following games.
I can still find people to play Unreal Tournament 99 or Quake 2 with.. How many people are playing the original halo on original xbox right now
? Or how about Gears of War
? -BRB, I know a lot more people with consoles IRL than with expensive gaming rigs

-BRB, I can rent games, borrow and redbox new joints I want to test out.
your ignorance is fukking annoying
Also games are so cheap on PC that the price you pay for game fly TO RENT the game, we can just pay and buy the game out right
-BRB, my gaming setup is ultra portable and I can move it anywhere as long as there is a TV

-BRB, don't have to worry about my system overheating from the intense gaming
You can do the same on PC too fakkit thats why they have many more adjustable options-BRB, I am guaranteed to play any game that is released for that console for its entire lifespan without worrying about specs.
-BRB, I can play multiplayer with my friends in the same room.(Used to do this a lot with Halo Reach and my friends in college until like 4am. Used to go on McDonalds/Cookout runs, shyt talk people online, have people stop by the apartment/dorm, etc)

You mean like you can on Steam-BRB, I can sell my games to gamestop, on craigslist, etc when I get bored with them.

-BRB, automatic updates and easy installations. Also DLC is hassle free, just buy and install.
the updates on consoles are horrible and often corrupt game files even for popular games like NBA 2k and you have to start entire seasons over
No such issue like that on PC
Games on PC can actually install/update while you play them at the same time
-BRB, I don't have to worry about performance issues. Some PC games are poorly optimized regardless of how well your rig is.

this is literally the dumbest shyt ive read on this forum. How is a controller more care free than a fukkING MOUSE ? A mouse is 1000000000000% more accurate and faster-BRB, I can put on Netflix with my console AND browse around on my laptop.
-BRB, I can play Blurays on my TV unencumbered in full HD. (Yes I know you can bluray on the PC if you have a bluray drive, HDMI cable, etc, it's just easier to pop a bluray in your PS3/PS4 and watch the movie)

I could buy 5 of the same console games that you can buy 1 console game for.. NEW too.
Thats whats up bro, but everything else on console like RPGs, FPS, MMO's are 1000000000000000x better on PC than console. Ironic because PC birthed all your popular FPS games, your crowd is just too stupid and bad at them to play them on what they are intended for-BRB, Fighting games are usually always better on the console. Framerate, controls, etc are critical to these games and consoles take care of these problems for you.

You just contradicted yourself in your own dumbass thought. How can there be so much PC gaming news you would need an infinite amount of disposable time to read it all, but then say gaming news is more frequent on consoles
-BRB, can boot up COD, play a few matches and then bounce after 20-30 minutes. So your COD version is different than the PC version of COD where you literally can do the same thing ?
-BRB, there are a lot more casual gamers on console. PC gamers can take themselves too seriously sometimes which makes it harder to newbies to get onboard the tight knit online communities in PC games. The learning curves are easier to swallow on consoles for people with lives outside of gaming.

EXACTLY! They just don't know what it's like to be at greater resolutions. You literally will not look at games the same again once you're on 3 monitors. Yeah it costs more and you gotta have 2 high end graphics cards, but it's definitely worth it to me.Not to sound like a douche but I can afford it so it's worth it to me. the largest gaming communities are on PC.. The most played games are on PC, its not even close.
....what ?!I can still find people to play Unreal Tournament 99 or Quake 2 with.. How many people are playing the original halo on original xbox right now
? Or how about Gears of War
?
sounds like a personal problem peasant
You mean test out games like you can with Origin ?your ignorance is fukking annoying
Also games are so cheap on PC that the price you pay for game fly TO RENT the game, we can just pay and buy the game out right
If your car can fit a xbox1 or ps4, it can fit a computer
really? Shout out to the RROD on xbox360 or YLOD on ps3 dumb ass, next time point your fans in your computer the right way and you wont have over heating problems dumbass
You can do the same on PC too fakkit thats why they have many more adjustable options
You mean a room like this ?
![]()
100% sold out with PC gamers, in the same arena that the Seattle Super Sonics used to play in, is that room big enough for you ? Cause your garbage consoles will never ever... EVER.. in their life time experience something like that. But have fun with your $5 tournaments
You mean like you can on Steam
the updates on consoles are horrible and often corrupt game files even for popular games like NBA 2k and you have to start entire seasons over
No such issue like that on PC
Games on PC can actually install/update while you play them at the same time
This is just not true at all. This is people with mediocre rigs trying to play on high settings or something. If we capped all our games at 720p and 30 fps like garbage ass consoles then you wouldnt hear of this "issue" ever.
Yep, the line for kinect sports gonna be down the fukking block when it hits the streets
this is literally the dumbest shyt ive read on this forum. How is a controller more care free than a fukkING MOUSE ? A mouse is 1000000000000% more accurate and faster
You mean like how im watching netflix on my right monitor while responding to your horrible post on my left monitor as we speak ? You lucky I dont have mod powers id make it so you couldnt post in the arcadium for an entire week for this garbage of a post.
I dont got a blu ray drive, but I watch blu ray movies... Seriously, your ignorance is damn near hurting my head..
Yeah "all" we got is steam.. the largest library of games in the world. "Thats it". Discounts for console gamesI could buy 5 of the same console games that you can buy 1 console game for.. NEW too.
Thats whats up bro, but everything else on console like RPGs, FPS, MMO's are 1000000000000000x better on PC than console. Ironic because PC birthed all your popular FPS games, your crowd is just too stupid and bad at them to play them on what they are intended for
Why are you comparing used to new ? Typical console peasant.. Not understanding that the upfront cost of a PC might be more, but over the course of 5 years you save more money in the long run through less expensive games.
You just contradicted yourself in your own dumbass thought. How can there be so much PC gaming news you would need an infinite amount of disposable time to read it all, but then say gaming news is more frequent on consoles

this might be one of the most ethereous posts Ive read this monthwell saidgaming on a console is like opening a door and walking into a room.
gaming on a PC is like opening a door and walking into a hallway full of doors that all open up to hallways full of doors.
