This G3258 is showing it's age. Game ran like a dream at first but once I got out into the open it started to dip over and over. I don't even feel like messing around with settings as it will keep stuttering and dipping and there's streaming issues. Meh.

Is anyone else getting a pixel like glitch at the bottom right corner?

Will my R280 be enough to run this at high at least ? This sounds like it will hard on GPUs.

I'm "getting" it now. If it runs decent on my geriatric rig (i7-2600k, 8GB ram, GTX 570() then I'll buy it.

Might have to eventually cop another used 570, but I've maxed out (16:9 tho) even on FC4 with good fps.

MSAA, Grass on Ultra, Post FX and Shadows are the most resource hogs. I personally would advise you to turn down Grass to very high/high/normal and Post fx to very high/high for more fps.

Also there's this weird issue where the game might seem to be running at a lower fps randomly when it was working good before. Try turning down shadows and then turning it back up again. It should fix the performance drop. Even in Franklin's Crib I was suddenly getting 40fps.

Aight, on my single 570() I can run a couple things on very high that don't affect gfx memory, and get "playable" framerates. But...

Damn this game is demanding. With everything turned all the way up, fxaa, msaa, and txaa (I guess all three are being used, which is crazy overkill), I get frame rate drops in the wooded/hilly areas in the 40s even at 1080p (I'm still waiting to try 5870 x 1080). Looks like this will be a fxaa only game and some settings turned down, even with titan x sli

This game keep fukkin crashing is pissing me the heck off. All I have to do is change settings a few times.

last night I played for three hours and the game didn't crash once. It has crashed previously but I got lucky I suppose. I'm still using patch #2.

only time it crashed (CTD) on me was one mission that crashed every time I hit LB to shoot out the car

I haven't crashed yet on my PC. Not really taxing it heavy graphically either.



He's been building NASA super computers for so long I just assume he's going to have an issue SOMEWHERE.

If I dare change a setting once or twice I'm getting booted to the desktop.

I was just playing this for about an hour and then suddenly the computer reboots but the weird thing is it only rebooted to teh loading windows screen. It didn't even go back to the POST startup.

It can't be my CPU/GPU overheating as they've been checked to be fine while benchmarking.

I like it on PC way more than console even though driving was better on console.. but I keep getting disconnected every 30 minutes so fukk it

i've just got Chop at my crib and i have NO MISSIONS or QUESTION MARKS showing on my map for my 2 characters...wtf am i supposed to do?

my GTA V launcher.exe does not close when i shut down the game.
if i try to start the game again it says that GTA is already open, so i have to go into my control panel and shut down the launcher.exe...then the game will start.

anyone know anything about this?

Rockstar really fukked up by not using dedicated servers for GTA Online for PC. The script modders and hackers online is out of control. I only play single player now.

For console it's not that complicated. Usually they can bring a small TV, their own console for a LAN experience.

If you're a tinkerer, you'll love building a gaming PC. Unfortunately it's incredibly time consuming and that's pretty much where the no friends thing comes from. I thought about building a PC myself mostly to play Witcher 2 and pirated games but I thought about all the time it would take.

For consoles, spend half the money, significantly less time. Go to Best Buy, buy the console, your game off the digital store, plug your controller in, play.

To answer OP who clearly has down syndrome you want to know what happens when my friends come over? It's simple actually I'll tell my friends "Hey which controller do you prefer to use the Ps3? Xbox 360? Ps4? Xbox one? choice is yours". Now Op here comes the tricky part that makes pc gaming so difficult, I open my gaming folder and give my friends choices of 50+ games to choose from which ranges from Super Nintendo, N64, Playstation 1(and 2), or PC. At the end of the day we end up playing the same shyt anyways which is NBA 2K15 ( yes OP it's on pc also) and or Fifa15 ( yes OP it's also on PC). I sometimes ask my buddies "Yo who wants to use the headset since we on PC?" They all look at me like da fukk we need headsets for?
