First, replace the USB cable. It might just be as easy as that.

You could try to put in a freezer for a hour of two, it worked for me :yeshrug:

Or buy another enclosure and put the hdd in your new enclosure

There should be some sort of docking station you can get from Amazon to read the data. I found one that read my old computers hard drive...

Right click my computer then click on manage>then click on disk management
