And games take far longer to produce than TV shows. Will be interesting to observe. :ehh:
A single game can consume more time than a TV show. People can spend 60-100 hours on a single game. No TV show is getting that kinda time. TV is just so rapidly consumed that they need a constant pipeline of new content.

That's not entirely true depending on how long the TV show is and how many episodes per season there are. Another counterpoint is that there's no guarantee that a person will devote that much time to a single game as we see a lot of player bases don't actually finish certain games because they're too long.

Apparently this is part of their adoption program for the service.
They projected losses until 2024

I'm surprised enough people subscribe to Peacock to complain about it.

I only subscribe to Peacock for the top 5-6 WWE PPVs. I'll subscribe from RR to WM then cancel. MITB to SummerSlam then cancel. Survivor Series then cancel.

I had to get in Peacock ass about a few months ago about charging me after I cancelled service the day before my account was up for renewal.

luckily they are owned by comcast, who makes money hand over fist just from being the biggest ISP in the united states.

I'm sure universal studios makes money, but peacock is great value brand of streaming services.
