What exactly makes Sweet Potato great? Sweet Potato is really hit or miss for me I just don't think it's that special.

Sweet Potato in it's pie form just doesn't do much for me
I can eat it but it just doesn't "hit" that spot compared to pecan like I said it just "came and went".

First of all OP, this pic is some cac version of sweet potato pie....the nikka version's texture is much smoother
Second, Pecan pie is too damn sweet to me now, but when I was younger it was indeed goat
And third, they both superior to pumpkin pie
No fukkin lies told...I just had a slice of Pecan & Sweet Potato back to back and honestly I enjoyed the pecan pie very much whereas the sweet potato after eating was just kinda "
Pecan my second favorite pie. Combine it with some ice cream and its delicious. Any pie is better with ice cream tho.
Love pecan pie. Don't like sweet potatoes period.

Pecan pie with vanilla ice cream is the goat. I’m not a huge fan of sweet potatoe pie. I mean it’s good, but it doesn’t satisfy my sweet bug enough. I’ve always liked pumpkin pie a little more. But pecan pie over sweet potato pie. I agree.
