I agree about the consent/rape point that your making. But to play devil's advocate...How does a child get to decide they are trans or gay at such a young age? How can a child decide they are old enough to take hormones, get procedures done , or be gay if they don't have the mental capacity to make those decisions?

I don't think they should be getting procedures or taking hormones as children. there is no medical need for them to have procedures at all not to mention having it done as kids versus as an adult. we're a first world country so we try to act like having elective surgeries is a right. it's not, it's one the highest forms of white privilege there is. I wouldn't hesitate to remove that from any type of insurance if i was an elected official. That's like letting girls use their medical insurance to pay for butt inplants as children because their ass is too flat in 3rd grade.
As far as what they want to label themselves as, whatever,
it shouldn't matter anyways, because they shouldn't be sexually active at a young age regardless of their orientation.
