I have no issues with gays and believe that two consenting adults should be able to live their lives as they wish as long as they aren't infringing on the rights of others.
However, despite being liberal on the issue, I'm on the same page as it relates to hormone treatments and any changes to children under 18 that has life changing effects before they are mentally mature enough to know whether its something they actually want to do.
The pendulum has swung too far and which is also why pedophilia is never going to be accepted because the pullback will happen before that ever comes to fruition. You'll never get a public to accept pedophilia and so that is why some folks are way too paranoid about something that isn't going to be normalized anytime soon. They've been saying that next up is pedophilia since the 80s if you accepted gays. It's not a new argument and I don't think we're any closer in saying its ok for adults to sleep with children.
