Joel being a prototypical southern white boy isn’t an integral part of his character or the plot in anyway so who cares?

Pedro literally has two seasons of being a reluctant dad in an ugly world with the Mandolorian and he made people know how he was feeling with a gigantic mask on his face.

He’s like the perfect candidate for Joel.

pedro pascal is the new bruce willis. with a bit less less physical threat.

action plus exceptional yet not exceptional everyday man who the audience can relate to.

if willis was younger you could see him being cast in each pascal role.

younger willis would fit right in as joel, reed or even opposite denzel in the equalizer.


when pascal gets older he will be doing roles like 13 blocks and surrogates.
