But where is this storied championship history that the Hornets have?

Over the last decade or more, I bet yall have had at least 4 coaches and none have finished above 500 for their tenure...

Sounds more like an ownership problem to me...

The team, for the most part, didn't get better

Anthony Davis got better and was able to carry a team that had very few real other components to the playoffs. And even then, they needed OKC to have a collapse to make the playoffs

You can say this about most teams, the young potentially great players get better because that is what they do and then the coach gets the credit for it

Look at Austin Rivers now. Dude was a shytty coach.

Rivers is playing on the best offense in the NBA it stands to reason he would benefit

did anyone actually watch pelicans games? anyone thinking hes a good coach clearly didnt. monty is a below average coach. horrific late game strategy/play calling, and always out of timeouts. played bad lineups for extended periods of time. they won 45 games despite him, not because of him

Yes, Monty have faults, I think his in game adjustments are shyt. However, I rather have him than the sorry excuse of the GM. I hope Dumars replaced Demps in a backstabbing decision.
