Gentry is probably the only guy comparable in this situation none of those other guys were afforded 4 opportunities to reclaim their career especially not with the amount of given talent that SVG is going to have access to ....as you see in the majority of cases IF a black coach is given another chance its with one of the worst teams in the league that they have to do some herculian effort on to rebuildJB Bickerstaff

don’t know if this is a good or bad thing but I was hoping if the Pels were gonna dig in the NBA coaches parts bin they would’ve gone after Doc the second he got fired and offered him the works. Nope Stan can put a staff together like the Lakers have with Jason Kidd where you have dudes who the players legit fukk with.
Seems like Zo and Zion gotta be 100% healthy all the time for this shyt to work and I hope NO isn’t done making moves either. They got assets and pics to play with this offseason.

Why would they go to hall of fame? Because jeff and stan went to finals once in their careers?
Jeff was clashing with houston players, demanding more control over the team.... Players hated him. Hasn't coached a team for over a decade.
Heat had to fire stan to win a championship. His orlando days were two, three at best good years, and that pitty finals appearance because KG was out for boston, and cavs played horrible.
I imagine a hall of fame coach having more on his resume. But I guess anyone gets in there these days.
Jeff was a horrible "do it like I say" old school coach who ran yao ming to the ground. He sucks and players didn't like him.
