Trump has already accepted contracts and down payments for the wall and is scared out his mind.

:myman:

Breh people keep overlooking Trump making most his money from construction and his desire to push this Billion dollar wall. He would so figure out a way to get kickbacks from it, that it's blatant.

nah. What's more counter-intuitive than US politicians putting illegals interest over citizen interest....give that man his money to do something that doesn't negatively affect citizens, instead of threatening to hurt citizens in order to benefit non-citizens

The above is the Democrats real problem. The GOP will spin a rational allocation of funds to "Dems just want to help illegals over regular, every day citizens", and ignoramuses, AKA the general public, will eat that shyt up. When facts don't matter it's "give that man however much tax-payer money he wants".... never mind the opportunity cost of this stupid project does negatively affect citizens. Never mind Trump's promise that Americans wouldn't foot the bill.

Sadly i agree with you.

See I like the Democrats finally enjoying power to push back but illegals is a non starter for me.

The wall is stupid. Fine. I get it.

But betting on illegals is a losing strategy.

Yeah, that's probably where they should go with it. I don't know, maybe Pelosi or Schumer mentioned it, but they should pivot and say this money could be better spent by improving...whatever...healthcare, education...anything. But a simple no leaves them open to this...interpretation.

They reeeeeeeeeally should have mentioned Mexico was supposed to pay for the wall. That's a low blow to Trump and there's no way he could have wiggled out of that. It would have boxed him in because those were his own words. Anytime he mentions money for that wall Dems need to tell him to wait for the funds from Mexico.

You all underestimate the power of a good soundbite. That's all people understand.

Why play into his stupid games? That in itself is a loss.

He brags about tariffs while it's American consumers who end up footing the bill.

I know you like the guy or whatever but come back to reality.

there's gonna have to be a point in time where these idiots on the left have to reconcile their pseudo open border policy with universal healthcare. you cannot be for both :dead:

These dudes are so stupid. "Don't play into his games." But if Pelosi did drop the Mexico bomb on him these same morons would be inhaling the dust off her p*ssy for such an awesome "clapback." They would have been "so there" for it.

What makes it a real problem is that action speaks louder than words....there's noway for the dems to spin in their favor "we shutting down government because we don't want to fund a project to block illegals"

But what if they built a medical database only citizens can opt into universal healthcare. So unless you were a citizen you wouldn't be in the database and this couldn't participate in universal healthcare
