everytime i watch CNN and this issue comes up, one of the hosts or guests will ask one of these right wing shytheads "but trump said he was gonna make mexico pay for the wall". and EVERY TIME, they get a from the republican. a complete non answer, because mexico paying for the wall is the biggest political lie of the 2010s and it's not going to happen

so for them to fukkin miss that opportunity to do it to TRUMP HIMSELF in front of the reporters and the entire country im sorry, but words cant even express my disgust right now. it was cowardice or incompetence

Why mention "Mexico" even if Trump did lie about them paying for it.

This is Trump's issue that he needs to resolve himself so why allow him to have an escape route and add the Mexico variable?

If they did mention Mexico alll that does is give Trump room to shift the focus off him and onto them in that moment. I could see him saying "Mexico is un-trust worthly and corrupt - they lied about funding the wall because they want to send their people here"

Mexico is a mute point in this argument. However if he decides to mention Mexico then you attack him on it.

His voters only care about two things, white supremacy and money...The majority are "fiscal conservatives" who staunchly oppose government spending...

I hear you but they didn't have prep time for the camera (shyt they weren;t even wearing makeup....) . I honestly don't see either of them agreeing to meet him that way if they knew cameras were going to be there, and based on the tweets of people who are around them they are both pissed that meeting even happened in spite the fact they "won". I mean between them they must have asked to take the meeting private 10 times in 10 minutes.

Trump was trying to pull a stunt and both of them had to audible that shyt..... on TV. Plus this is absurd, he didn't get the wall when he had all the juice, why would he get the wall now?

So in the grand scheme of things they did great considering this was supposed to be a Trump trap.

He already said he would just tariff Mexico after the wall is built. So its not really a point anymore. I mean we all know thats a lie too but its a question that already has an answer. Right now they are discussing the immediate funds. They are shutting down his arguements. It doesnt make sense to bring up Mexico

They reeeeeeeeeally should have mentioned Mexico was supposed to pay for the wall. That's a low blow to Trump and there's no way he could have wiggled out of that. It would have boxed him in because those were his own words. Anytime he mentions money for that wall Dems need to tell him to wait for the funds from Mexico.
