I really don't care who some of these girls are bedding, and I don't care that their 'intent' wasn't to be racist. The fact that they can't make the connection that performing caricatures is racist- is institutional racism in progress itself.
The "just costumes and signs" are not the part that needs investigation, they are trying to find out what culture exists within the student org/campus climate that makes students feel like they can glorify and publicize the behavior. Especially when Greek orgs get hella funding and school sponsorship and are therefore deemed as student "leaders".
