Surveillance footage of the incident showed her putting herself in the chute. It looked like she may have possibly been running from someone and tried to hide, but accidentally fell to her death

It doesn’t mean she was being chased as if she was fleeing harm. Someone could have been chasing her to prevent her from hurting herself and this unfortunate tragedy happened.
