There is an Upper Darby town and a Upper Darby Township
Upper Darby the TOWN is black as hell. It's literally right next to west philly and has a "hood shopping district" on 69 st
Parts of Upper Darby TOWNSHIP are black but mostly it's not. It's some parts of the township you might get harassed or something. Def have the cops called on you or something

He handled the situation excellently. He didn't act aggressively he filmed calmly because he knew the moment this hits the internet it's the beginning of the end for her.

This is the kind of energy I need to see. And I'm glad the news outlet correctly called the behaviour what it was. It wasnt 'racially charged' or 'racially insensitive' or whatever other weasel words they are told to use. It was straight up racist and unacceptable. The teacher will be fired if theres no union. Hell even if there is, the union would not want to be associated with protecting racists.

The bolded was a pleasant surprise. Too often, news outlets drop the ball and use every phrase in the book to avoid calling something that was said racist. Glad they called it for what it was.

Darby is an entirely different town than upper darby (and it's not in upper darby township far as i know)
kind of confusing
and honestly those stats are from 2010 breh.....almost a decade ago.
You can imagine how much an area can change in that span with gentrification pushing ppl out
that middle school is in drexel hill, which is not upper darby the town. it IS in upper darby township though

Had to go to the library, just got back.

But yeah the location info is out of the norm from what i'm used to.
The school is in Drexel Hill ....the catch is that drexel isn't a city or county it's just a "place" designated by the census. That said Drexel Hill is located within Upper Darby Township.
Upper Darby Township & Darby Township are the full formal names of the incorporated cities which both exist within Delaware county, PA. Upper Darby is the white area while Darby is the majority African American area. They are both side by side.

If you look at hwy markers atop the map below "Drexel Hill" and the school is in the green area between markers 3 &1.
(Actually it's somewhere right above the "U" in Upper Darby)

Nothing much more to leave than this...:ehh:

Tell my lady all the time...I'm tired of walking in predominantly black schools (or mixed w/ Hispanic) and seeing a staff full of white ppl...:mjpls:

It doesn't look right. I can't speak specifically for Upper Darby schools, but I'm talking elsewhere. In black/diversified areas, it doesn't matter if it's employment (cacs at management level), communities (cacs as law enforcement), athletics (cacs as refs or owmership)...theres always some white person in an authoritative role dictating the narrative...:mjpls:

That needs to change. Everything should more or less reflect the population (qualified candidates of course).
Exactly what I tell my coworkers. My job is 90% black but every authoritative position is white:usure:
