It’s just crazy how they kowtow to trump, like he can literally do WHATEVER he wants. It seems like NOONE can challenge him.
He want the plane, he gets the plane, regardless of cost and how it hurts AMERICAN PEOPLE…it’s like all the other presidents followed this unwritten rule on how to be president, but dummy here just said “I ain’t doing it” and no one says a word.
Pure madness. We only 5 months into this mess. I’m worried what this country will look like in 2 years…seems like folks are TERRIFIED of trump
The constitution and most of our institutions are not really setup to deal with “bad” actors. For example, the constitution isn’t setup do defend people from a Supreme Court that’s bought and paid for, or a president that has every branch under his control and weaponizes the DOJ in a way it was never intended to be used—and so on. That’s supposed to be what the second amendment is for. That’s what second amendment enthusiasts always cite. “Oh, we need to be able to defend ourselves from tyranny.” Yet, the hour is at hand and people either agree with Trump or aren’t doing shyt.
On another level, it’s seems like no one thought (in the framing of our laws) a person like Trump—who has the moral turpitude of a rat—could ever be president. America is still a young country that never had to transition from say, feudalism/monarchy, to another system. We didn’t have to deal with a mad king domestically before, so there were no real safe guards to prevent it.
And now, everything is fukked.
